Abbotsford Bridge, Hall Road, will be closed for gully works. Due to an existing low spot, there is an issue with excessive water pooling on the carriageway. A new double gully will be installed and the kerbing will also be extended.
Works are planned to commence on Monday 27 January 2020 to resolve this issue and are expected to take approximately five days to complete. The road will be closed from 8am-5pm.
Passengers using the 7 and 7a bus service please be advised there will be no change in service as buses will be guided through the closure during working hours.
Advance signage will be on site and the following diversion will be in place during the road closure:
Hall Road, B1051 (Henham Road, Mill Road, Thaxted Road), Church End, Brick End, Woodgates End, Chapel End, Molehill Green, Waltham Hall Road, Elsenham Road and vice versa.
